Community and Economic Development
Grants are awarded to tribes, barangays, and cooperatives to stimulate
community and economic development, improve cottage industries, and increase
farming, fishing and livestock production. Examples of funded projects are
fruit tree farming, loom weaving, hog fattening, carabao dispersal, native
chicken upgrading, payaw fishing and trisikad purchase and operation. Small
infrastructure development projects such as building of artesian wells and
public toilets have also been funded.
